Healing Through Connection

Relationships can be deeply fulfilling — but they can also be challenging. Over time, even the strongest partnerships can experience disconnection, misunderstandings, or conflict that feels impossible to resolve. When communication breaks down or emotional distance grows, it can leave both partners feeling unseen, unheard, and alone.

Couples therapy offers a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can begin to understand each other again. It’s a place to slow down, listen with empathy, and start rebuilding the trust and closeness that may have been lost.

Building a Healthier, More Fulfilling Relationship

My approach to couples therapy combines empathy, evidence-based techniques, and a deep respect for your individual experiences. Using methods such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, we’ll identify the patterns that keep you stuck and replace them with new ways of relating that encourage safety, openness, and closeness.

Healing doesn’t happen overnight — but with consistent effort and a willingness to grow together, change is possible. Couples who engage in therapy often rediscover not only trust and affection, but also a renewed sense of partnership and purpose.

Take the First Step Toward Reconnection

If you’re ready to heal, rebuild, and reconnect, couples therapy can help you create the relationship you both deserve — one rooted in trust, understanding, and lasting love. You don’t have to do this alone; support and guidance are here when you’re ready.

“The pain of loss may never fully leave us, but it can transform into a quiet strength that carries us forward.”

Take the First Step Toward Reconnection

In therapy, we’ll explore what’s really happening beneath the surface — not just the arguments or frustrations, but the emotions and needs that often go unspoken. You’ll learn how to communicate in ways that foster connection rather than conflict, and begin to see your partner through a lens of compassion and curiosity.

Together, we’ll work on:

  • Strengthening communication and emotional attunement

  • Healing from betrayal, resentment, or broken trust

  • Rebuilding intimacy and connection

  • Managing conflict in healthy, respectful ways

  • Reestablishing shared goals and mutual understanding

If you’re ready to heal, rebuild, and reconnect, couples therapy can help you create the relationship you both deserve — one rooted in trust, understanding, and lasting love. You don’t have to do this alone; support and guidance are here when you’re ready.

Your Relationship Deserves a Fresh Start

Let’s work together to create lasting change and rediscover what
brought you together in the first place.

I am recently remarried, and in our blended family, we have four daughters. We live in Lake Havasu City and thoroughly enjoy the lake life and sunshine here in Arizona! We are often by the water or cruising in our boat, finding a cove to enjoy on the lake. One of our favorite family activities is packing a picnic dinner and enjoying a sunset cruise on the water. Four daughters, including one adult, two teens, and a toddler, definitely keep us on our toes, but we embrace all the challenges and triumphs that come with being a blended family. We love to spend time together, find fun activities in the community, cook and bake together, tend our garden, and are continuously learning new ways to respectfully express our differences. Life with four girls comes with many feelings and emotional situations, but also many opportunities to express love and understanding. Unfortunately, my first husband passed away in 2017 after losing his battle with alcoholism. My journey through this experience with my two eldest daughters was one of many life events that ignited my passion for helping others. Whether you are struggling with your mental health, addiction, grief and loss, domestic violence, relationships, life transitions, or simply seeking personal growth and self-development, I am here to help you reach your therapeutic goals and feel good about your direction in life.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Human Services from California State University, Fullerton, and went on to receive my Master's in Counseling from CSUF as well. I have worked for several years in the mental health field and have been employed by various agencies in addition to health centers in college campus settings. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. I have an eclectic style that allows me to use an integrated approach and tailor my therapy to meet each client's individual needs. I enjoy the many aspects of the therapeutic process and look forward to helping you in your journey toward wellness.
